UPERFECT UColor T3 Review: A Compact 4K Monitor Built for Everyday Creators | Chan's Tech Review

Introduction

Today I got something a little different on my desk. This is the UPERFECT UColor T3, a compact 24-inch 4K monitor that I've been using for the past week. I mainly wanted to see if a smaller 4K display actually makes sense for creators like me. You know when you need sharp visuals, but don’t want a giant screen taking over your desk.

Design & First Impressions

Right out of the box, the T3 looks clean and minimal like really clean. The bezels are super thin, the stand is minimal but feels solid, and the matte finish on the back gives it a bit of an Apple vibe.

It’s surprisingly light too. If you like moving things around or switching between setups, this is easy to carry. And it supports VESA mounting, so monitor arms are definitely an option.

Ports, Speakers & One-Cable Setup

On the back, you've got pretty much everything you need:
• HDMI
• Mini DisplayPort
• Two USB-C ports (one power + one full function)
• USB-A
• Headphone jack

It even has built-in speakers. They’re not going to blow you away, but for quick calls or watching YouTube, they get the job done.

And the best part? If you're using a MacBook or any USB-C laptop, it’s a one-cable setup power, video, and audio all through a single cable.

But there’s one thing missing: no webcam.

Display Quality

Now that the camera side is handled, let’s get back to the monitor. The T3 is a 23.8-inch 4K panel, and the sharpness stands out immediately.

Text looks crisp, icons look precise, and even basic apps feel nicer to use.
If you’ve only used 1080p or 1440p monitors before, 4K at this size is a noticeable jump.

Color Accuracy & Brightness

The monitor is rated at 100% sRGB, which is great for creators doing:
• Photo editing
• YouTube work
• Light design tasks

It’s not a professional color grading panel, but the colors are accurate, consistent, and easy on the eyes.

The matte screen is a big plus no glare, no weird reflections.
At around 300 nits of brightness, it’s fine for most indoor setups.

Productivity & Daily Use Experience

In daily use, I’ve found that 24-inch and 4K hit a really nice balance.
You can fit two full-size windows side by side or edit while previewing footage at full quality.

The pixel density is excellent, though you’ll want to adjust scaling otherwise text might look tiny. Once that’s set, it’s super comfortable.

The smaller size actually helps with focus. Everything stays within your field of view, which keeps you locked in.

Gaming & Performance Expectations

No, this is not made for gaming. It’s a 60Hz panel. If you’re expecting 144Hz smoothness, this isn’t it. But for productivity, color work, and media playback  it performs perfectly fine.

What I Like Most

What I appreciate most about the T3 is how balanced it feels.
It’s not trying to compete with $800 monitors.

It just focuses on doing the essentials really well:
• Sleek design
• Crisp image
• Accurate colors
• Easy one-cable setup

It quietly supports your workflow without distracting you.

Things That Could Be Better

A few improvements would make it even better:
• Slightly higher brightness (closer to 400 nits)
• A built-in webcam

The 60Hz refresh rate may turn off gamers, but that’s not who this monitor is for.

Final Verdict - Who Is This For?

The T3 is one of those quietly capable monitors that you appreciate more over time.
It’s compact, sharp, color accurate enough for creative work, and minimal enough to fit almost any setup.

If you have a small desk or want a clean 4K workspace that doesn’t break the bank, this is a solid option. Pair it with a good webcam, and you’ve got yourself a tidy little studio setup that just works.
