UPERFECT NxtLED One Plus Portable Monitor Review

Hey everyone, it’s nice to see you here and welcome to my channel. Today we’re doing something a little different. If you’ve been watching my videos, you know I usually do ASMR unboxings and reviews. But today I wanted to talk a bit more personally, and I felt like this would be a great way to start something new. I’m really excited to share my new portable monitor with you, thanks to UPERFECT. I’m also giving this away to one lucky subscriber, so make sure to stick around until the end.

Product Overview

This is the UPERFECT UGame E4Nxt LED version (now renamed NxtLED One Plus). It’s a newly released portable monitor that features their latest display technology.

According to UPERFECT, this new tech is designed to stay clear under changing light, remain comfortable for long viewing sessions, and stay consistent from every angle. The idea is that you can work and play longer without discomfort.

It is an 18.5-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution, combined with what they call an eye-care display.

Build Quality and Design

In terms of build quality, UPERFECT is known for using solid materials, and this monitor definitely feels like a premium product.

It comes with a built-in stand, and it also supports VESA mounting. That is exactly what you would expect from a portable monitor like this.

Everything feels well put together, and nothing about it feels cheap or fragile.

Comparing with VisionOwl

UPERFECT NxtLED One Plus Comparing with VisionOwl

Recently, I found out there is a competitor in the market offering something very similar, so I wanted to compare them side by side. The competitor is a VisionOwl portable monitor. It is also an 18.5-inch 1080p display, but it only supports a 100Hz refresh rate and does not include the same display technology. It also comes with a built-in stand, VESA mount support, and speakers. In terms of materials, it feels similar, although I did notice it is a bit heavier.

Display Differences

When placing both monitors side by side, one of the first things I noticed was the bezel size.

The VisionOwl has larger bezels, while the UPERFECT has thinner borders. This makes the UPERFECT look more modern and gives it a bit more usable screen space. Another difference is the refresh rate. It may not sound like a huge difference, but 120Hz compared to 100Hz does make the UPERFECT a better option for gaming. Interestingly, I also noticed that the VisionOwl appears brighter. However, brighter does not always mean better. Too much brightness can actually strain your eyes over time.

UPERFECT addresses this with its NxtLED™ technology. The display stays clear and bright even under changing lighting conditions, while still being comfortable to look at.

They also claim it delivers OLED-level color performance, and it reduces reflections by diffusing light. In practice, it does feel easier on the eyes.

Portability and Practical Use

Portability and Practical Use

Both monitors are quite similar in terms of features and usability. You can mount them on a monitor arm or simply use the built-in stand. However, because the VisionOwl is slightly heavier, the UPERFECT feels more suitable for portability and outdoor use. If you are someone who moves around a lot or likes a minimal setup, that difference becomes noticeable.

Price and Value

Price and Value

Now when it comes to price, this is where things get interesting. UPERFECT is actually cheaper, even though it offers better specs and more features. Because of that, it feels like you are getting better value for your money. There are quite a few reasons why you might consider this monitor, and why UPERFECT might be the better choice overall.

Sound and Media Test

I also compared the built-in speakers and general display performance. For an 18-inch portable monitor, the sound is not bad at all. It is perfectly usable for casual viewing or gaming without external speakers. Both monitors perform well visually, and the differences are not huge when you are just casually watching content.

Gaming Test

Gaming Test

Next, I moved on to gaming and tested both monitors with Valorant. In terms of performance, both monitors handled the game well. I did not notice any major issues, and gameplay felt smooth on both displays. The difference was not huge at first glance. However, after playing for about an hour, I started to notice something important. The UPERFECT display felt much easier on my eyes compared to the VisionOwl. That made a bigger difference over time than I expected.

Final Thoughts

I’ll leave it up to you to decide your thoughts based on the comparisons, but from my experience, both monitors perform well in different conditions. That said, after extended use, the UPERFECT stands out because of its comfort and overall balance. It feels lighter, more portable, and easier to use for longer periods. The display is easier on the eyes, and the overall experience feels more refined. For me, UPERFECT takes the win here.
